Welcome to Region One of the American Daylily Society (ADS), which is comprised of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and the Canadian province of Manitoba. We are proud to share with you that today's ADS has its origins in a meeting of daylily enthusiasts that took place in Shenandoah, Iowa, on July 13, 1946. Region One is where it all began!

We hope that you will regularly visit our website to further your interest in daylilies (Hemerocallis). Here, you can obtain information about the next Region One meeting as well as local daylily societies and their plant sales. If you are seeking advice concerning how best to grow daylilies in your garden, contact information of local Hemerocallis growers is also provided. We encourage you to join the ADS and enjoy the many benefits of membership.

Hello Pollen Dabbers enthusiasts!

We have a great program this year: Kurt Hanson, Daylily hybridizer extraordinaire, and Michael Berrigan, Daffodil hybridizer of >30 years experience (and yes, that orange cup has a WHITE EDGE!).

Registration info coming soon - waiting to hear back from the hotel about a block of rooms. It will be $50 as last year. Michael will anchor Friday night, and Curt will anchor Saturday. I'm stoked!

We are later this year than last as both the third & fourth weekend in March the community college is closed for spring break. That means last weekend in March. Less of a chance of an unfortunate weather event, so a silver lining.

JUDGES WORKSHOP 2 ON SUNDAY

Held at NDSU Historic Daylily Garden; for new judges only. Drive-yourself directions will be provided (see registration form).

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:

Friday & Saturday programs, Saturday bus tour, gift plant, and all meals from Friday dinner through Saturday dinner. Guest 'dinner only' is also available (see registration form).

Late fee if registration is postmarked after June 18th. Final cut-off date is July 3rd.
